Q1
Calls are not transferred even when set to transfer.

You may be receiving a transferred call.
Transferred calls cannot be transferred.

Calls are not transferred to the set transfer recipient even if Absent Transfer is set.

If both Absent Transfer and Scheduled Transfer are set, Scheduled Transfer is given priority. Cancel the Scheduled Transfer setting.

Only part of the station’s name is displayed on the station’s screen.

The station name can be set to up to 24 hankaku or 12 zenkaku characters, but depending on the screen, only a maximum of 15 hankaku characters are displayed due to size limitations.

Group calls cannot be transferred.

Group calls cannot be transferred to intercom stations (IX-DA and IX-BA).

The picture of the video intercom station (IX-DA) flickers.

In areas where the commercial power supply frequency is 50 Hz (Eastern Japan), the picture may flicker if the camera of the video intercom station (IX-DA) captures light from a fluorescent bulb.
In the settings of the video intercom station (IX-DA), try setting the frame rate in the Video 1 settings to 10 fps or less.
This can reduce flickering.

The characters in received e-mails are garbled.

The “UTF-8” character codes are used for e-mails.
The characters may be garbled with some e-mail software and e-mail software settings.
In this case, take one of the measures listed below.
  • Change the setting of the e-mail software’s encoding (character codes) to Unicode (UTF-8).
  • Set so that only hankaku English characters and numbers are used in subjects.
  • Use other e-mail software to read e-mails.

The station’s power does not turn on.

Use a switch (hub) with a PoE power supply function to connect the station.

  • In Internet Explorer, enable the settings below.
    • Enable SSL 3.0 or TLS 1.0.
    • Enable Javascript.
    • Enable Cookies.

Web settings are not applied to the station.

  • “Use NTP server” may be set to “Disable” or the NTP server settings may not be completed. Check the respective settings and set them as necessary.
  • If the host name is set for the NTP server, the “DNS server” settings must be set.

Check the file contents.
  • File type: wav format

The set data is stored in the set system name folder under “SupportTool” - “SystemData”, in the place specified upon installation.
Store the settings in a safe place.

The station cannot be found when searching.

  • The station’s power is off.
  • The computer (IX Support Tool) and station are connected to different networks.
  • The maximum number of stations that can be searched at once is 1000.
